The Magnitude of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is increasing in Ethiopia
Ambassador Misganu Arega, State Minister of the Ministry of Trade and Industry received the Swiss investors in his office on May 22, 2019. At the moment an intensive discussion has been held between the two parties.
On their part, the Swiss investors’ delegation team emphasized that they have the interest to invest in the areas of custom and revenue system and as well as traceability of Ethiopian industry products that contribute to the growing economy.
Ambassador Misganu started his brief explanation by honoring their willingness and commitment to invest in Ethiopia. He briefed them that Ethiopia is endowed with ample opportunities for FDI and the government is fully committed to welcome and create a conducive environment for foreign investors. He added that what you want to do here is very important for Ethiopia which contributes to our economic reforms and competitiveness at the continental and global business arena.
